For Florida native Hannah and fiance Ben, choosing The Breakers was extremely easy – they loved the property instantly, and the bride’s parents were married here 30 years ago. We just love when Breakers weddings run in the family!

 

 

“We chose The Breakers because of how beautiful it is,” Hannah says. “We love how close it is to the beach, how close it is to us, and, of course, because my parents got married there!”

When Katy and Greg say ‘I Do’ at The Breakers this April, the bride-to-be will be following in her parents’ footsteps.

 

 

The New York City residents choose The Breakers because they wanted to wed at a venue that meant something personal to both of them.

 

“My parents were married at The Breakers in 1977 in the Magnolia Room — where we are having our cocktail hour,” Katy says. “And Greg has spent a lot of time since he was young playing tennis at The Breakers.”

When Wendy and Tom got engaged, they knew they would host their wedding in Wendy’s hometown of Sweden. But they also knew they just had to have a celebration at their favorite resort, so they hosted an enchanting engagement party at The Breakers!
