Since last summer, we have followed the wedding journey of Florida native Jessica and her groom-to-be Jordon. The two recently said ‘I Do’ and celebrated an incredible wedding weekend at The Breakers.

 

 

For Jessica and Jordon, choosing The Breakers’ for their big day was not a difficult task. In fact, Jessica’s parents and both her mother’s brother and sister all hosted their wedding receptions at The Breakers!

 

We’ve shared their vintage engagement photos and their lovely invitations, and now we’re very excited to share a look back at their special day with this wedding video by Alan Button…

As a resident of Wellington for the last 10 years, Laurie had visited The Breakers and says she always remembered how “stunning” it was.

 

 

“When Timmy and I got engaged, I knew it was a place he would like, so it was our first stop in checking out wedding venues,” Laurie says. “We instantly knew there was no need to look any further. It was love at first sight!”

Laurie’s beautiful and oh-so adorable daughter ParisElla stole the show. She and her mother donned matching dresses for the ceremony – which honored Timmy’s Indian heritage – and they even changed together for dancing. She also had the special task of introducing Laurie and Timmy at dinner, our favorite part of their video!

 

“We were so very proud of my daughter ParisElla,” Laurie says. “She’s only five and insisted on introducing us. At the time, we were afraid she might freeze-up in front of all the people…. Boy were we wrong!”

For Jobria and Josh, choosing The Breakers wasn’t just about finding a beautiful venue, it was also a way to celebrate a very special memory: The day the couple met. Ten years ago the now Atlanta natives met while on a spring break vacation at The Breakers!

 

 

“The Breakers is where it all started for us so we thought it only fitting to chose it as our wedding venue,” Jobria says. “Our day was truly a fairytale and we are so thankful for all the hard work of The Breaker’s amazing staff!”

When Margaret drove down the Main Drive and saw the row of palms trees leading to The Breakers, she said they knew it was the perfect place for a dream destination wedding. In fact, Palm Beach was the only place the couple considered for their wedding.

 

“Palm Beach is glamorous and picturesque — It is a little oasis from the cold, dark and dreary east coast. How can you beat the November weather and beautiful ocean?” says Margaret. “When we told our friends and family decided to have our destination wedding at The Breakers, smiles lit up their faces.”

 

 

The bride’s favorite memory? An easy one: “My ceremony on the Ocean Lawn was my favorite wedding moment. Right before I walked down the aisle, I stopped and looked out to see my groom and the gorgeous ocean behind him,” Margaret says. “I could hear the sound of the waves and feel the cool, ocean breeze. A sense of calm and serenity hit me and I knew that this was one of those perfect little moments in life.”

When Alicia and Andrew say ‘I Do’ in the Gold Room tomorrow night, they will create a new chapter in the ten-year love story of a girl from Hawaii and a boy from Florida.

 

 

“We chose The Breakers because of its embodiment of elegant beauty,” the couple says of their special day. “How many other wedding sites can rival the Gold Room or The Circle? These rooms are perfect – they capture a feeling of being in a European royal palace. To us, the Gold Room and The Circle symbolize the uniqueness of our relationship.
