We’ve been following destination-wedding couple Michelle and Justin for the past two months — and this weekend, the Manhattan couple will tie the knot at The Breakers!


The amazing couple shared their champagne fight engagement shoot and their beautiful invites from Ceci New York, and offered a sneak peak at their wedding menu. Now, they are sharing the proposal that started it all.

From Michelle: “Since Justin and I work together, most of our work friends were in on it. They made me go out for happy hour on a Friday after work. Justin waited hours for the ring to be ready. After happy hour, I went home to candles, rose petals and our dog Buster in a Tux. Justin was standing at the end of the flower petals, wearing a suit, and then he proposed.”

The proposal celebration: “After I said YES, Justin took me to the Four Seasons restaurant for an amazing dinner, followed by drinks with all of our closest friends at the W Hotel’s Whiskey Bar. I had no idea about any of his plans and it truly is the most amazing feeling in the world.”
